Quality Alone Time in Emeryville / Blue Hair, Don’t Care

As I mentioned in my latest post, my life has been a bit of a whirlwind lately. Thankfully, some much-needed changes will happen over the next couple of weeks. And, with those changes, I’m hoping that I’ll be able to get my life back in order — and really be able to inject some life into this Bucket List project. But before I dive into that, I want to talk about March 19th — the first time that I’ve ever taken a personal day in my professional career and the day I checked off “Item No. 9: Take a personal day, just ’cause.” Buoyed by an excessive amount of work-related stress, I decided to take a day off, do some errands, and just spend some time taking care of “me.” So I kicked off the day by visiting the doctor’s office, then treating myself to an early morning Bar Method class — my fitness addiction — and a Starbucks Frappuccino.
